Acer has unveiled its new Aspire One Happy netbook for 17,999, but the street price of the product is around 16,700.
Ultra-thin at only 24mm, Aspire One Happy weighs 1.25 kg. It's built on dual operating systems i.e. Windows 7 and Google's Android and gives a battery life of up to eight hours. It sports a 10.1-inch WSVGA high-brightness display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Google Android allows users to access emails and brows Internet much faster. Customers can also use Android to view their photos, and play music etc.
The new netbook is powered by Intel Atom N455 processor with 1 GB RAM and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150. It has an internal HDD up to 320 GB of capacity and a built-in multi-in-one card reader ensuring convenient storage.
Acer Aspire One Happy provides Wi-Fi Certified connection or Fast Ethernet. It comes with Bluetooth 3.0+HS allowing users to share photos and music. It also features a keyboard with larger keys, wide multi-gesture touchpad, and Acer Crystal Eye webcam and microphone. Acer One Happy is available in four colours - Candy Pink, Lavender Purple, Lime Green and Hawaii Blue.
