Bharti Airtel, India's top telecoms carrier, has no immediate plans for an initial public offering of its telecom tower unit, Akhil Gupta, deputy group CEO at Bharti Enterprises said.
Gupta is also the managing director of Bharti Infratel, the telecom tower unit of Bharti Airtel.
Bharti Infratel, which has more than 30,000 towers, also holds a 42 percent stake in a joint-venture tower company Indus Towers, which is the world's top telecoms tower company with more than 100,000 towers.
Gupta said there are no immediate plans to list Indus Towers.
