CBI fear an attack from Dawood's D-Company over 2G scam

The CBI authorities who are investigating the 2G scam fear an attack by underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's D-Company to destroy the documents. CBI received the information from a known source a few days back that the D-Company might target their headquarters which is situated in Delhi to destroy the valuable evidences that they have documented regarding the irregularities in the allocation of the 2G scam.

Dawood Ibrahim's D-company came into picture when CBI was probing Shahid Usman Balwa, who showed positive connections with the underworld. He was the promoter for Swan Telecom which is known as Etisalat DB. He has been arrested and is kept under judicial custody for his role in the 2G scam. The intellgince services were so far able to link D-Company with the 2G scam only through Balwa.

The Intelligence services have wrapped up their investigation and have enough proof to file a charge sheet against the scamsters. The CBI will file its first chargesheet in the 2G scam by the end of this month, and the list consists of Raja, his former personal secretary RK Chandolia, former telecom secretary Siddharth Behura and two telecom companies as accused.
