Mahindra group is partnering with U.S. telecom equipment maker Cisco Systems to provide a range of services including cloud computing, the companies said on Tuesday.
The agreement would involve multiple contracts across regions, Mahindra's Chief Anand Mahindra said. Under the MoU, Cisco and Mahindra will explore opportunities to collaborate on comprehensive differentiated offerings in the sports and entertainment market to provide a range of industry-specific offerings.
Shares in Tech Mahindra rose 7.4 percent and shares in Mahindra Satyam rose 4 per cent following the news. Both companies are units of the Mahindra group.
