Opera, the popular mobile browser, is stretching its arm and making its debut on the iPad. The iPad optimized version of the browser will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), Barcelona next week.
It has been revealed that newer versions of Opera is also being planned for Android, iPhone, J2ME, Blackberry and Symbian platforms. Also making their debut at the MWC will be Opera Mobile versions for Android and Symbian versions.
Opera browser has tasted success on various mobile platforms. It enjoys a healthy lead over other browsers in the market and has been leading the market this year with a 21 percent lead. Opera has 90.4 million users of the Mini browser and about 15 million users of its full Opera Mobile browser.
